What are Club Drugs?
Club Drugs is a term that is used to referrer to a group of drugs that are commonly found in clubs or "raves". Club drugs even though are illicit or illegal drugs, are often thought of by their users as harmless party drugs. The three main club drugs are ecstasy, ketamine, and GHB.
They are most commonly used to "enhance" the party experience. Club drugs are mostly mild hallucinates, uppers, and drugs that provide a sense of euphoria. Club drugs are not harmless drugs, their effects can be unpredictable, especially when used in combination with other drugs and alcohol.
Club drugs are addictive and have also been referred to as "predatory drugs" or "date rape". Club drugs have been used to facilitate sexual assaults. These drugs are slipped into drinks or food items, at a club or rave, and the victim loses their desire to fight off or even remember the assault.
